full text) provide that the top speed of your Low-Speed Vehicle must be at least 20
mph but not more than 25 mph.

HOW FAR DOES IT GO ON
A SINGLE CHARGE?
Generally speaking, you can expect at least 25 miles to a charge and,
depending on your style of
driving, you may be able to get as much as 40 miles on a single charge.
With our extended range option the range of your Star Electric Car
can be as much as 70 miles.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO
CHARGE?
Usually overnight, as long as the batteries are adequately filled and the
charger is working properly.

HOW DO YOU CHARGE IT?
On most of our models, the charger is "onboard" and needs only
a standard extension cord to plug into a regular 110-volt
outlet. On some models a charger comes separately with the car. The charger has two cords: one
plugs into the car in a
special socket below the driver's seat, and the other plugs into any regular household
110-volt outlet. Either way, the car's on-board computer detects when the batteries
are fully charged and automatically shuts off the
charger.

DO BATTERIES
DEVELOP A MEMORY?
No. The charge of your flooded lead-acid batteries
can be topped off at any opportunity with no concern for
shortening the battery's life.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO
CHARGE?
Less than $1.00 worth of
electricity.

HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES
LAST?
About four years or around 1,000 charges. Typically there are six 8-volt batteries; presently this
type of battery costs about $98 apiece (batteries should be replaced in
a set), so you can budget $600 for new batteries every four years or
so.

CAN I GET AN
ELECTRIC CAR WITH A TOP?
Yes, all seating configurations can be ordered either with or
without a top.

WHAT SEATING
CONFIGURATIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
The Hummer H3, The California roadster and the Cadillac Escalade can
be 4, 6 or 8 passenger. The Star Cruiser can be from two,
four, six, eight, eleven or 14 passenger.

WHAT OPTIONS ARE
AVAILABLE?
There are numerous styles of wheels; style and color of steering wheel;
various colors for the dashboard (and overhead radio console if one is
selected); selection of radio or other sound player and speakers; and
color and style of paint, trim, upholstery and carpeting. There
are innumerable accessories and other options, such as an electronic
speedometer/hour meter, or a telescoping steering column. If you
want something, we can probably do it.
