HOW FAST DOES IT GO?
Florida law (click HERE for full
text) and Federal law (click HERE for
full text) provide that the maximum speed of your Low-Speed Vehicle must be at least 20
mph but not more than 25 mph.

HOW FAR DOES IT GO ON
A SINGLE CHARGE?
Generally speaking, you can expect at least 25 miles to a charge
with the Standard Battery Configuration (SIX 8-volt
batteries), or 50 - 60 miles to a charge with the Extended-Range
Battery Configuration (EIGHT 6-volt batteries). Depending on your style of
driving and how you use other power-consuming devices (lights,
stereo), you may be able to get as much as 40 miles on a single
charge with Standard batteries or 70 miles with Extended
Range.
-
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO
CHARGE?
Usually 6 - 8 hours or less, depending on how much battery capacity
was used, as long as the batteries are adequately filled and the
charger is plugged in and working properly.
-
HOW DO YOU CHARGE IT?
On all ACG models, the Delta-Q Quiq Intelligent Charger is "on-board" and needs only
a heavy-duty extension cord, plugged into the vehicle at one end and
into a regular household 110-volt outlet at the other end. The
Delta-Q will also work on 220 volts (you'll need an adapter
plug). The Delta-Q QuiQ Intelligent Charger detects when the batteries
are fully charged and automatically shuts itself off.
-
DO THE BATTERIES
DEVELOP A MEMORY?
No. The batteries are standard flooded lead-acid batteries,
and can be charged at any opportunity with no concern for
shortening the battery's life. As a matter of fact, it is
advisable to keep the vehicle plugged in when it is not being
used.
-
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO
CHARGE?
About 15 cents per hour. A full charge typically uses less than $1.00
in electricity.
-
HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES
LAST?
About four to five years, as long as the batteries are properly
maintained (kept fully watered) and regularly charged.
Battery prices fluctuate on a daily basis (depending on the price of
lead), so please call for a current quote on battery
prices.
